Selassie currently works as a Product Marketing Manager on Einstein at Salesforce delivering artificial intelligence for everyone. As a unique leader, Selassie’s extraordinary conviction as an autodidactic engineer (purely self-taught), initiative, people skills, and proven ability to deliver exemplary results led her from a life paved with hardships, and obstacles to success in Silicon Valley, arguably the most competitive innovation economy in the world. Selassie’s experiences in life culminated in the creation of Life Model Design and a line of products which has helped people around the world achieve the types of financial, health, relationship and personal success that enabled Selassie to thrive in an increasingly competitive society.

Selassie leverages over twenty years of software engineering, technology and consulting experience serving as a trusted adviser for startups and medium sized businesses. Selassie spent the past ten years working at Salesforce delivering cloud business solutions to Fortune 500 companies. Selassie worked as a Product Manager developing solutions to help Salesforce scale to more than 25k employees with the #dreamjob application portal before making a career shift to technical sales.
Selassie’s success in sales as a Sr Solution Engineer led her to be a top revenue contributor ($30 Million) across the United States for a variety of industry clients including strategic accounts in Silicon Valley and Hollywood. Selassie is an advisor for the Salesforce Incubator where she partners with entrepreneurs in the Salesforce ecosystem to develop artificial intelligence into their products.

Selassie has made remarkable philanthropic contributions to global diplomacy through advocating for transformation in public safety initiatives to end violence through the application of S²TEAM and Design Thinking. As an impact advisor and mentor for Hillary Clinton's US State Department sponsored program (TechWomen) for five years, Selassie worked with Emerging Leaders from Egypt, Jordan, Rwanda and 60 other countries. Contributions include presenting at conferences, as well as traveling to Jordan, Israel and Palestinian territories to mentor and encourage women engineers in tech companies and girls in STEM education programs. Selassie participated in humanitarian missions to Cuba to learn and advise on how the internet, modern technology, entrepreneurship and partnership with the US can best advance their society.
Selassie founded two non-profit programs; Pitch Mixer Entrepreneur Forum and Think Don’t Squeeze. Think Don’t Squeeze drives education and awareness of the practice of design thinking in producing solutions to end violence. Think Don't Squeeze educated and connected individuals, families, emergency response workers and activists in communities impacted by violence to use design thinking to understand the cause of violence and develop solutions. Pitch Mixer connected entrepreneurs to advisors, Venture Capital and Angel Investment funds to spur economic growth in undeveloped communities such as Oakland, California.

Selassie's philanthropic efforts have gained recognition, including the Global Tech Excellence Award from BPN, Silicon Valley 40 Under 40 by the BayArea Registry, Grace Hopper recognition award from the Anita Borg Institute, being honored with a Champion Grants 8 years in a row from Salesforce.org and being recognized among the top volunteers within the company.
